London Lonely Girls Club Christmas Decoration Workshop with Ashley Knight

Festive season is upon us so join us as we team up with our good friend, textile upcycler & designer, Ashley Knight for a fun, hands-on upcycling session where you’ll learn how to create your own embroidered Christmas decoration using recycled materials on Wednesday 10th December. You’ll design and stitch a unique Christmas charm in either a heart or star shape, edged with a blanket stitch and stuffed with studio scraps. Pick up basic embroidery and upcycling skills alongside inspo & sustainability tips, that can be used for any future upcycling or repair projects. You will leave with an embroidered Christmas decoration perfect to decorate your tree or gift to a loved one this festive season.  All materials provided and recycled and beginner friendly.

Ashley is an award winning London-based upcycler, textile designer and weaver who creates colourful & sustainable textiles using deadstock and recycled materials. Alongside making Joyful upcycled Jackets & accessories with her own textiles & deadstock materials, she runs upcycling workshops for organisations, brands, and community groups, focusing on creativity, skill-sharing, and waste reduction.
