Calling our London book girlies, it’s time for our May book club! This month our pick is Spellbound by Georgia Leighton. It's a magical and gripping feminist retelling of Sleeping Beauty that asks the question – What if Beauty never went to sleep?
Join us on Tuesday 27th May at the Penguin Random House offices for an extra special edition of the Lonely Girls Book Club where author, Georgia, will be joining us in person and LGC founder, Holly, will be interviewing her all about the book and the magical world she’s created. We’ll also have time for you to ask Georgia your questions on the book, as well as the usual time for you all to discuss, chat and share your thoughts on this magical story with each other (as well as get your books signed and get some pictures on the stunning Spellbound throne!)

Where: Penguin Random House Offices, Nine Elms
What: The cost for this event is £9.95, included is some yummy drinks from some of our fab drinks partners, Spellbound book-ish merch, opportunity to get your book signed by the author, meet her and ask questions!

Can I just turn up to an event on the day?
Unfortunately, not. For all Lonely Girls Club events registration is required, you can never just turn up on the day as all of our venues have a maximum capacity that we need to adhere to. So make sure that you sign up to our newsletter or join our Facebook group for your city so you never miss a beat!
How do I register for events?
Lonely Girls Club events are exclusively for community members. Sign up to the Facebook group or newsletter here to join the community. From there you will be given the password to register for our events, which you find here on our website.
