We are looking to expand our team of event hosts for multiple LGC cities in 2026.

This is a paid part time, freelance role. Ideally we're looking for team members who would be able to commit to at least 2 events each month. The role is very much focused on our in person events, rather than any admin or pre-event work. 

The main responsibilities for this role involve, but aren't necessarily limited to:
- Event hosting
- Event introductions (if relevant for events like friendship speed dating, walks, friendship bingo, community trips)
- Community member welcomes
- Community member check ins (via our digital check in system)
- Venue set up (if required)
- Activity set up (if relevant)
- On the day partner or venue comms & coordination
- Creating a welcoming environment for attendees (many arrive feeling anxious & on edge)
- Goodie bag prep or set up (if relevant)
- Event pack down (if required)
- Capturing top level event content
- Keeping an eye on attendees, and if anyone needs help, or introducing to other attendees to help with conversations & connections, doing that gently & kindly.
