Community Theatre Trip : Blood of my Blood

We know that many of you girlies love the Theatre as much as we do, so we’re excited to say that we’re again teaming up with the Royal Court Theatre this autumn to host an exclusive community trip to see Blood of my Blood on Friday 16th October. 

What is the show about?  Bullock Creek, South Carolina, 1862. As war rages beyond the plantation, Ginnie Good raises her five children in a cabin that will outlast them all.
Today. At the same cabin, now a trendy Airbnb, a pregnant Black woman uses conjure to commune with her ancestors, seeking answers to the questions she's afraid to ask anyone else.
Playwright Joy Nesbitt makes her Royal Court debut with a haunting new play about inheritance, belonging, and what we hear when we listen to the voices of the past. Directed by Tatenda Shamiso. 

We’ll have drinks in a private space in the Undercroft Bar both pre and post show to give you time to chat, hang out with and get to know other theatre and arts loving girlies, and plan your next theatre trip together too.

When: Friday 16th October, arrivals drinks from 6.45pm, play starts at 7.45pm
Where: Royal Court Theatre, Sloane Square
What: The cost for this event is £29.95 and includes your show ticket, a show play text & and time both pre & post show to mingle and get to know other like minded girlies.
